UPDATE: Phone lines working again at Kelowna General

The phone lines at the Kelowna General Hospital and Brookhaven Extended Care in West Kelowna are back up and running.

A media release from Interior Health stated all hospital and health centre services were running as normal, but people were not able to get through when they called earlier today, Nov. 29.

"We are pleased to advise that the phone system at KGH is fully operational again and issues at the only other impacted site – Brookhaven Extended Care in West Kelowna – have also been resolved," Interior Health said in an emailed statement.

"We are continuing to work with Telus to determine if further repairs or equipment replacement are needed to ensure ongoing system stability."
