Police seek help in locating 3 paintings stolen from University of Toronto
TORONTO – Police say three valuable paintings have been stolen from the University of Toronto.
The paintings were taken between Jan. 30 and Feb. 10 from three separate locations at the university.
Investigators say the thieves cut the paintings and removed them from their frames.
The paintings are Morning at Peggy’s Cove by William E. deGarthe, Credit River by Yee Bon, and Church of Santa Maria Della Salute by Francesco Guardi.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for the thefts and the return of the artwork.
