INNISFAIL, Alta. – The RCMP is looking for help with its latest cute and cuddly recruits.
Ten German shepherd puppies are waiting for their names at the police dog training facility in central Alberta.
Kids 16 and under are being asked to come up with creative names starting with the letter “H” that will serve the dogs well in their working careers.
Contestants can only make one suggestion and can only enter once.
The names must be no more than nine letters and contain only one or two syllables.
The deadline is March 3 and the 10 children whose names are selected will each receive a photo of the pup they name, a plush dog named Justice and an RCMP cap.
