Man arrested after woman found dead in Surrey home, RCMP say

SURREY, B.C. – Surrey RCMP say a man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a home.

RCMP say they were called to a residence in Surrey on Friday afternoon.

They say they found a deceased woman at the residence and arrested a man, who remains in custody.

The RCMP say they believe the two knew each other. They also believe there is no ongoing public safety concern.

Surrey RCMP and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team will work together on the investigation.
