
UPDATE: Highway 5 north of Kamloops reopens
KAMLOOPS – A vehicle incident that closed lanes on Highway 5 on the outskirts of Kamloops has been cleared/
DriveBC said the incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at CN Junction Road. Both northbound lanes and the southbound fast lane were closed before the road reopened at 1:40 p.m.
OPEN – #BCHwy5 – Vehicle incident northbound at the CN Junction Rd, north of #Kamloops. The highway is open to single lane alternating traffic. Crews are on scene. Obey traffic control, expect delays.

There is currently no word on the cause of the incident or any resulting injuries.
