
Investigation launched into racist comments caught on video in B.C.
RICHMOND – A video that has garnered attention on social media has caught the attention of Richmond RCMP.
An investigation was initiated after the video, in which a middle-aged woman makes several disparaging remarks following what appears to have been a collision in a Richmond parking lot, went viral across B.C. this weekend.

"In order to ensure the integrity of the investigation and privacy of the individuals involved, we are asking the public to respect the investigative process and refrain from posting any comments on social media," said Insp. Sunny Parmar, operations officer with Richmond RCMP.
Police said both parties in this incident have been identified and investigators have been in contact with all involved. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Richmond RCMP at 604-207-1212.
