WILD WEDNESDAY: Did you know chipmunks were this athletic?

In this week's episode of Wild Wednesday, check out this pine chipmunk keep busy out in the wild.

Through trail cameras, WildSafeBC shows us how much we can learn about these creatures.

In this particular video we can see details of bot-fly bite on one pine chipmunk as well as their ability to successfully leap from stone to stone using their tails to help maintain balance.

Although these small rodents are fun to watch, remember they can carry ticks, fleas and other harmful insects.

It's always best to watch them outdoors in the wild, WildSafeBC says.
