Lake Country mom advances in Ms Health and Fitness competition

LAKE COUNTRY – A Lake Country mom has one more shot at a life-changing cash prize; it all boils down to the wild card.

Taelor Gaschnitz is part of the Ms. Health and Fitness 2019 competition, which offers a $20,000 prize and a two-page spread in Muscle and Fitness Hers for the winner.

Thousands of women from around the world entered the competition and the field has been steadily whittled down over the last month.

Gaschnitz has had a strong showing in the competition, consistently making it to the top rankings in each voting round.

She ranked first in her group for most of the semi-finals voting block, but she was unseated during the final stretch, failing to secure a coveted spot.

But all is not lost for the Lake Country mom. She has one more chance to get into the semi-finals.

She's been entered into the wild card voting round, which starts today, Aug. 2. If she scores enough votes, she'll be back in the running and one step closer to the ultimate prize.

The wild card round ends on Aug. 4 at 8 p.m.

You can vote for Gaschnitz here.
