Man in his 20s dies in Vancouver’s fifth fatal collision of 2019

Vancouver police say a man in his 20s died in a car crash Saturday night.

Two passengers in the car were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the man was driving when he collided with another vehicle in the Marpole neighbourhood, then hit a utility pole.

They say no one in the second vehicle was seriously injured.

Collision investigators are collecting evidence at the scene and anyone with information is asked to contact police.

This is Vancouver’s fifth fatal collision in 2019.
