
Suspect arrested in downtown Kamloops Canada Day stabbing
KAMLOOPS – RCMP have arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing in downtown Kamloops on Canda Day.
A 54-year-old man was left with serious injuries after he was stabbed by someone he knew at the corner of Victoria Street and 5 Avenue at around 10 p.m. Monday, July 1.
RCMP say in a media release a 31-year-old man was apprehended at approximately 2:50 p.m. yesterday, July 2.
He is in custody and scheduled to appear in court, police say.
No word on what charges are being considered.
