BERLIN – A 32-year-old man has been convicted of 15 counts of attempted murder and attempted arson in eastern Germany for a petrol-bomb attack on an asylum seekers’ home.
The Zwickau state court said the man, whose name wasn’t released in line with local privacy laws, was part of the far-right scene and threw two of the homemade bombs at the home in May 2016.
Tthe dpa news agency reported that he was sentenced Tuesday to four years and three months in prison.
It was not immediately clear whether he’d appeal.
