One of four suspects arrested in North Shore home invasion
RCMP have arrested a 40-year-old Kamloops woman in connection with a home invasion that occurred in North Kamloops early Wednesday morning.
Four masked suspects forcibly entered a home on Kemano Street resulting in several goods stolen and one person taken to hospital after being punched.
"(The investigation) is very active. It's still ongoing," said RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned.
The suspects allegedly entered the home armed with bear spray and edged weapons about 1:20 a.m., Jan. 23. RCMP believe the incident was targeted and that the individuals involved knew each other. The woman is expected to face charges of break and enter and disguising face with intone.
The other three masked men are still at large and RCMP. Learned could not say whether RCMP have suspects but said the investigation is still active.
"We also do have some very solid leads that we're following," he said.
RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding these suspects to contact the local detachment at 250-828-3000.
