RNC Minerals. (TSX:RNX). Metals. Down nine cents, or 9.89per cent, to 82 cents on 20.4 million shares.
Aphria Inc. (TSX:APH). Health care. Up 93 cents, or 5.8 per cent, to $16.95 on 10.3 million shares.
Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ). Base metals. Down three cents, or 1.1 per cent, to $2.71 on 10.1 million shares.
MEG Energy Corp. (TSX:MEG). Energy. Up nine cents, or 0.83 per cent, to $10.96 on 6.9 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Energy. Up 14 cents, or 3.7 per cent, to $3.92 on 5.3 million shares.
Companies reporting major news:
Aecon Group Inc. (TSX:ARE). Up 31 cents to $17.31. The company has signed a deal to sell its contract mining business to North American Construction Group Inc. for $199.1 million in cash. The contract mining business provides overburden removal and environmental reclamation services, primarily in the Alberta oilsands. Upon the deal, NACG paid Aecon a $10-million deposit, while the balance will be paid in four instalments.
