MONTREAL – A Montreal-bound Air France plane was forced to return to Paris on Friday because of an alarm related to the in-flight entertainment system.
An Air France spokesman said the Airbus 340 turned back after three hours in the air and landed at Charles de Gaulle airport another two hours later.
He said the plane was carrying 265 passengers and 12 crew members.
The passengers were scheduled to take another Airbus 340 later on Friday.
Montreal airport authorities gave special permission for the plane to land later than normally allowed.
