Training will tie up traffic in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – Beginning Monday, November 25, West Kelowna Fire Rescue personnel will be taking part in traffic flagging training at Daimler Drive and Auburn Road. This safety training for career firefighters will take place at the following dates and times:

·         Monday, November 25 from 1 to 3 p.m.
·         Tuesday, November 26 from 1 to 3 p.m.
·         Thursday, November 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.
·         Monday, December 9 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Paid-On-Call firefighters will be trained in traffic flagging on Gates Road in Glenrosa on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, intermittently between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The District of West Kelowna and West Kelowna Fire Rescue thank the travelling public for their patience as they take part in this important safety training.
