‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ contestant Tatianna coming to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — For a special one-night-only performance, a season two contestant from the reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race will be performing at the Duchess nightclub next week.

Rebellious Unicorns, an event-based company based out of Kelowna, is welcoming Tatianna of RuPaul’s Drag Race to take the stage on the North Shore on May 10.

RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality competition show which is streamed on Netflix. The show is based on the search for America's next drag superstar.

As a drag queen, Tatianna has a reputation as being controversial and sometimes clashed with other contestants on the show, according to a post on Rebellious Unicorn’s website.

“While Tatianna was regularly complimented as one of the prettiest and fishiest on season two, the gift was also part of her challenge as she was critiqued for relying too heavily on her looks,” the post says.

Tickets range from $35 for general admission and $55 for VIP tickets which include a meet and greet package. There is only a limited quantity of VIP tickets. Those who attend must be at least 19 years of age.
