Idaho police say missing brothers found dead after car crash

POCATELLO, Idaho – Two brothers reported missing in Idaho earlier this month have been found dead.

The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2gRF4Zh ) that state police say the bodies of 30-year-old Jhoan Nieto and 26-year-old William Nieto, both of Bogota, Columbia, were found near Preston on Sunday.

Police say the bodies were found at the bottom of a steep embankment off Highway 36 after an apparent car crash. Officials say the brothers weren’t wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle.

Authorities are investigating when the crash actually happened.

Police say the brothers lived in Franklin County but had not been seen or heard from since Nov. 30. They were reported missing on Dec. 6.
