‘The Amazing Race Canada’ TV show made a stop in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — The Amazing Race Canada was spotted filming in Kamloops on Wednesday.

In a post shared on social media, Lisa Presley-Sepkowski, captured a photo showing a line of pickup trucks all in different colours parked in front of the Kamloops Airport. She says the trucks had signs attached to their front doors with the words "The Amazing Race" written on them.

Meghan Snook says she was standing in the Valleyview Community Hall parking lot waiting for her daughter to get out of school when three people including a camera crew pulled up in a red truck to ask her a question yesterday afternoon.

"They asked me how to get to Juniper Ridge Bike Ranch, so I gave them directions," Snook says. "It was pretty exciting."

The Amazing Race Canada is currently filming its seventh season and is set to air this summer. The show is a reality TV series that features teams competing in challenges across the country and the world. The winning team takes home $500,000.
