LONDON – A British nurse who contracted Ebola while working in Sierra Leone has been hospitalized for a fourth time.
Officials said Pauline Cafferkey is in “stable condition” Thursday after being rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.
Officials say she is undergoing “routine monitoring” by infectious disease specialists.
Cafferkey was hospitalized in a specialty unit shortly after she returned to Britain from West Africa at the end of 2014.
She has been readmitted twice to hospitals since then with complications linked to the often-fatal disease.
