Fog delays flights at Kelowna airport

KELOWNA – Some travelers heading out of Kelowna are a little behind schedule this morning.

Kelowna International Airport has delayed flights due to fog and poor visibility a YLW Tweet says. Passengers are advised to check their flight status on the airport's website.

Several arrivals from Vancouver, Calgary, and Victoria are reported as being delayed, as well as departures to Cranbrook, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Environment Canada says the fog is dissipating this morning, then it will be mainly cloudy clearing this afternoon. Fog patches are expected to develop again late this evening.
