BAGNERES-DE-LUCHON, France – France’s Thomas Voeckler has won the 16th stage of the Tour de France over four huge climbs in the Pyrenees.
Bradley Wiggins, trailing several minutes behind, was keeping pace with his main rivals and appeared set to retain the yellow jersey for a 10th straight day.
The Tour was riding under a new doping cloud after RadioShack team leader Frank Schleck was expelled from the race on Tuesday after testing positive for a banned diuretic.
