TORONTO – Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry says he can’t wait to step on the floor with his new team.
The NBA club introduced Lowry and swingman Landry Fields at a news conference today at Air Canada Centre.
Lowry was acquired last week in a trade with the Houston Rockets.
The Raptors gave up forward Gary Forbes and a protected future first-round draft choice in the deal.
Lowry averaged 14.3 points per game with the Houston Rockets last season.
Fields was signed after the New York Knicks chose to not match Toronto’s offer sheet for the restricted free agent.
