Nominations for Vernon community heroes now open

VERNON – The diligent, humble workers who strive to keep communities like Vernon running often go without praise or recognition. Next month, they're getting time in the spotlight.

JCI Vernon has opened its Good Citizen Award nominations for 2018.

Every year, JCI searches for community members who make a difference through volunteer and extraordinary work.

JCI, which is a group of entrepreneurs and young professionals, will accept nominations until Jan. 11, 2019. The winner will be honoured at the Vernon Winter Carnival in February.

Nomination forms can be found here.
