SURREY, B.C. – Two more people have been charged with murder after a woman’s remains were found in a charred vehicle in Surrey, B.C., two years ago.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is expected to provide more details on Saturday in the death of Kiran Dhesi, who was 19.
Police have already charged three members of the same family, including a 21-year-old man believed to have been romantically involved with the student.
Harjot Singh Deo has been charged with second-degree murder and his mother and sister have been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Last month, police said investigators believed more people have information about the slaying.
Dhesi’s death is believed to have been targeted but not gang related.
