Looking for forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – This Great Dane at the Kamloops SPCA was found a stray and no one came looking for him.

Winston is a friendly and outgoing dog, a media release says.

He gets excited about long walks and outings. Winston also knows basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash.

This six-year-old dog likes to be with people so may get anxious when left alone. He will need to get used to spending time alone, slowly, a few minutes at a time.

Winston is currently awaiting dental surgery and his neuter, so he won’t be ready to go until after he has recovered. Neuter surgery generally has a recovery period of about two weeks.

Winston is looking for a guardian who can spend lots of time with him.
