CJ’s Nightclub in downtown Kamloops expected to reopen

KAMLOOPS – It's been a few months since CJ's Nightclub in downtown Kamloops announced its closure, but now it seems it'll open its doors once again this summer.

In a Facebook post, CJ's says it will be reopening next month, although there is no opening date available.

Details are still slim, but plenty of people reacted to the news on social media, many wondering if the club will reopen as the old Cactus Jack's with a focus on country music, or if it will reopen as CJ's, which had dance music and live DJs.

CJ's held its final party back in March before closing its doors.

The previous owners put the club up for sale early this year and by the time the doors were closed there hadn't been a sale.
