Kelowna RCMP looking for owner of found cash

KELOWNA – Some cash was found in Kelowna yesterday and the RCMP would like to find out whose it is.

RCMP say a “quantity of Canadian cash” was found on the ground on a street near Lakeshore Drive at around noon yesterday, June 11.

“We are holding back the details and exact denominations in an effort to return the money to its rightful owner,” Const. Lesley Smith says in a media release.

If you lost the money, or know someone who is missing some cash, call the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300.
