West Kelowna candidates forum tonight

WEST KELOWNA – On the day advanced voting opens across the valley, candidates for mayor, councillor and school trustee will be at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School in West Kelowna Wednesday night for the first all candidates forum.

The three part forum, organized by the Westside Board of Trade, starts with candidates for council at 6:30 p.m. and ends with those seeking the mayors chair around 9 p.m.

Residents can pose questions for council and mayor by emailing them to admin@gwboardoftrade.com.

Advanced voting opened in Kelowna and West Kelowna Wednesday morning at Parkinson Recreation Centre. A complete list of candidates and their websites can be found on the District of West Kelowna election page.

The 2014 municipal election takes place November 15.
