Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – This week the Kamloops SPCA chose a horse for the pet of the week.

Hank is a nearly-three-year-old sorrel gelding according to a media release.

He stands at 15.2hh with “nice conformation.”

This horse is doing well in foster and is learning his ground work basics, to lead politely, tie and have his hooves handled.

His training is ongoing and his foster guardian says he is level headed, kind and smart.

Hank requires an experienced home to continue his training, and is expected to make a very athletic riding prospect.

He is available for adoption from foster care.

For more information about Hank contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. His animal ID number is 451055. SPCA staff can connect prospective guardians with the appropriate people who can arrange the horse meets and adoptions.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
