One person dead in tractor crash outside Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Police say one person is dead after a tractor accident near Cherry Creek.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. today, May 2, police received a report of an accident on Beaton Road. When officers arrived they confirmed one person was dead on the scene.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says no other details are available at this time on the cause of the accident or the victim's identity.

The B.C. Coroners Service has been alerted.
