Welcome home celebration planned for Kelowna Olympians

KELOWNA – Two Olympians from Kelowna will be welcomed home in style tomorrow.

Kelowna’s own ski cross athlete Kelsey Serwa won gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang and will be joined by teammate and Kelowna local Tess Critchlow at a Welcome Home celebration in Stuart Park.

The celebration takes place tomorrow, April 4 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. It will include an opportunity to meet the athletes and ask questions, according to a media release from the City of Kelowna.

Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran will host the question and answer period from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
