Kelowna’s Gospel Mission readies for Easter feast

KELOWNA – Volunteers at the Kelowna's Gospel Mission are busy preparing close to 1,000 meals for Easter again this year.

Gospel Mission executive director Randy Benson says the cold weather hasn’t put a damper on their spirits.

“Our volunteers have the opportunity to show their love in action by serving those in need,” he says in a media release. “It is my hope that every person enjoying a meal at our table will be inspired to have hope for a better life.”

Volunteers will be serving the Easter feast from noon until 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.
