VIDEO: Pilot landing at YLW makes dramatic break through clouds

KELOWNA – The Kelowna International Airport has released a video showing one of their pilots landing through a thick layer of cloud recently.

The 26-second video shows the pilot headed towards Kelowna from the north, but all the camera sees is a layer of cloud.

In the video, which appears to be sped up, the pilot makes two left turns before descending.

When the unidentified aircraft breaks through the clouds, it is lined up perfectly with the runway.

It was released on Facebook today, Jan. 8.
