Get home safely on New Year’s Eve with BC Transit

Kamloops – To help people in Kamloops enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities safely, on Sunday, December 31, the City of Kamloops and BC Transit will be offering extended evening service, with the last trip of the night leaving after midnight on most routes.

The special New Year’s Eve service will apply to all routes that run on Sundays, with the exception of routes 13 Yellowhead and 16 Juniper Ridge. To view the full extended evening schedule, click here.

Transit users in the Kamloops Transit System should also be aware that the following holiday schedule will be in effect from Sunday, December 24, to Tuesday, January 2:

Regular Sunday service

December 25
No service

December 26
Sunday-level service

December 27 – 29
Regular weekday service

December 30
Regular Saturday service

December 31
Regular Sunday service with
extended evening service

January 1
No service

January 2
Regular weekday service
