Run for the Cure parking restrictions

KELOWNA – The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual Run for the Cure will take place Sunday, Oct. 2. The annual event starts at 10 a.m. with participants running and walking a one or five kilometer route beginning and ending at City Park.

During the event, a section of the City Park parking lot closest to the north field, will be reserved for event organizers.

While there are no planned road closures for the event, participants will be using sidewalks and pathways, therefore motorists are advised to be aware of the increased pedestrian traffic in the area. Traffic control personnel will be visible and motorists may experience minor disruptions where participants cross Water Street at Smith Avenue and Water Street at Sunset Drive.
