Controlled Burning in Two Regional Parks: March 20

Please be advised that controlled burning is taking place today in Scenic Canyon and Rose Valley Regional Parks.

Open burning is allowed today across the Central Okanagan for property owners with permits from their fire authority.

All fire authorities have been advised.

Further debris pile burning will be required as conditions warrant as part of the fuel modification work underway in  this and several other regional parks.
