Let’s Celebrate, West Kelowna!

The City of West Kelowna is turning 10 years old on December 7, 2017. We’re combining our Anniversary Celebration with our annual Light Up event for double the fun!

Join Mayor Doug Findlater and West Kelowna Councillors as they celebrate this important milestone and also light up the City for the 2017 holiday season!

There will be free food, including birthday cupcakes, prizes, music, giveaways, crafts and entertainment. Don’t miss the fun!

The City is also hosting its annual Winterfest celebration this weekend. Fun for the whole family, Winterfest features skating, crafts, cookie decorating and hot dogs and hot chocolate. Admission and activities are free, but a donation to the food bank will be gratefully accepted.

Before university, Taylor spent a year abroad living in Thailand which encouraged her to finish her degree studying in Turkey, both experiences have made her an avid traveller. Taylor graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. Although born on the coast, Taylor has lived the majority of her life in Kamloops and enjoys what the region has to offer. In her spare time, you can find Taylor volunteering in the community or out on an adventure with her friends and her dogs.
