Let’s Talk: Former McArthur Island Golf Course Lands

Kamloops, BC – The City would like your ideas for the future use of the former McArthur Island Golf Course land. Join us at one of the following open houses:

Saturday, December 2, 2017
Northills Shopping Centre, near Interior Savings Credit Union
11:00 am-1:00 pm

Wednesday, December 6, 2017
McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre, Main Lobby
5:00-7:00 pm

If you are unable to attend either open house forum, simply visit the Tournament Capital Centre and share your ideas by filling out a survey. The survey can also be taken online at www.kamloops.ca/letstalk

The next steps in the processes include analysing all public input received, highlighting the top five or six suggestions, preparing a draft plan based on the input received, presenting the plan to Council, and preparing an implementation plan for developing the park.

Taylor Rae

Before university, Taylor spent a year abroad living in Thailand which encouraged her to finish her degree studying in Turkey, both experiences have made her an avid traveller. Taylor graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. Although born on the coast, Taylor has lived the majority of her life in Kamloops and enjoys what the region has to offer. In her spare time, you can find Taylor volunteering in the community or out on an adventure with her friends and her dogs.
