Kamloops RCMP still searching for missing Williams Lake wildfire evacuee

KAMLOOPS – Police are still searching for a Williams Lake wildfire evacuee who was last seen in Kamloops more than a month ago.

Kamloops RCMP say in a news release 67-year-old David Jeff was one of the Williams Lake residents evacuated to Kamloops on July 25.

This is their second media release asking for information regarding Jeff's whereabouts.

Jeff hasn't been seen since late July or early August. He's described as an Aboriginal man, about 5'5" tall and 146 lbs., with grey shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

Both the Williams Lake RCMP and Kamloops RCMP have been investigating, but there's been no sign of Jeff.

If you see him, you're asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 as soon as possible.
