Flair Airlines will provide direct flights from Kelowna to Vancouver and Edmonton

KELOWNA – A new low-cost service to Vancouver and Edmonton will be offered by Flair Airlines from Kelowna International Airport.

In December, Flair Airlines will launch a new service that will allow people to fly directly from Kelowna to Vancouver or Edmonton at a low cost, according to a Kelowna International Airport media release.

Flair will offer flights to Vancouver on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to Edmonton's will occur on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

“We are thrilled to return service back to Kelowna, especially as passengers will be able to connect through to Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto,” vice president commercial operations Chris Lapointe says in the release.

Kelowna airport director Sam Samaddar says the relationship will benefit Okanagan residents and the economy.

Flights will begin on Dec. 15 and tickets will be available soon. Reservations can be made for a one-way trip from Kelowna to Vancouver or Edmonton for $99 on the airline's website or by calling 204-888-2665.
