LANGLEY, B.C. – A grass fire in Metro Vancouver led emergency crews to discover a person's body.
Firefighters in Langley, B.C., were fighting a blaze on the eastern edge of the city less than three kilometres from the local airport Saturday.
RCMP say in a news release that officers were contacted around 2 a.m. after the fire crews discovered the dead body.
An investigation is underway and police say the site will likely be cordoned off for "a significant amount of time."
Police say they have limited information on the cause of the fire and the identity of the deceased.
