Kamloops RCMP were called to the Westsyde neighbourhood at 2 a.m., according to a press release issued by Sgt. Brandon Buliziuk.

When police arrived at the scene they found a 20-year-old man suffering from an apparent stab wound to the chest. He was transported to Royal Inland Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. The investigation led the RCMP to a residence where officers found a woman with a knife.
