Canadian Mental Health Association men’s group thrilled with donated van from Parker’s
The Canadian Mental Health Association – SOS branch is so grateful for the incredible donation of a 7-passenger Dodge caravan from Parker’s Chrysler.
The van also transports members to various activities in the community such as an outing to the Summerland garden, a trip to watch a Penticton Vees game, roller derby, and bowling.
Parker’s donated the van to CMHA in 2016.
“The van also allows us to purchase groceries for the Meal’s program at Unity Clubhouse, said Executive Director Leah Schulting. The meals program operates 7 days per week, and allows members to purchase nutritious lunches for $2 and dinners for $4.”
We are so thankful to Parker’s for their generosity. The van enables us to offer group activities for mental health clients, and take them to places they might otherwise not have the opportunity to visit.
