A man with a pillow case on his head robbed a Kamloops corner store today

KAMLOOPS – A corner store in Kamloops was robbed by a man with a knife today.

RCMP were called to the Cornerstone Market on 12th Street at around 2 p.m. today, July 5 with a report that a man entered and approached the counter with a large knife and a pillow case on his head.

He demanded money from the register and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6 feet tall with a larger build and dark hair.

He was wearing a black, long sleeved sweater, blue jeans, black runners and had a light brown pillow case over his head.

The suspect fled in an older, green-coloured, four door car, similar to a Mercury Sable or Lumina.
