Senator Greene Raine’s cancer treatment going well
SUN PEAKS – Senator Nancy Greene Raine's treatment for thyroid cancer is going well and she will be back in Ottawa next month.
Sun Peaks Resort general manger Darcy Alexander says Greene Raine's thyroid removal surgery in April was successful and her follow up treatment as an out-patient at the B.C. Cancer Agency in Kelowna is going well.
The Olympic medalist and World Cup winner will be returning to Ottawa in early June for two weeks to take up her duties as a Senator, according to a media release.
