Jamie Morrow wants to be Vernon’s next mayor

VERNON – Another candidate is in the running for City Hall’s top seat.

Jamie Morrow, 54, wants to have a hand in shaping the City of Vernon’s future. The events and program assistant for Okanagan College’s School of Business wants to see Vernon continue to grow as a vibrant and healthy community where future generations can stay and raise families.

On the 'Jamie for Mayor' website, Morrow states he believes in a community that is safe, affordable, dynamic; one that offers ample employment opportunities, accessible recreation facilities and an appreciation of arts and culture. He says it’s all possible through economic development, job creation and the promotion of safe, secure and affordable neighbourhoods.

Morrow describes himself as dependable, approachable, open minded and experienced.

“I will work with you and for you. My promise to you is that I promise to always give you my best in everything I do as your Mayor. I will serve you and represent you well,” he says on his website.
