Southbound lane closure on Gordon Drive

Beginning Wednesday, May 3, the southbound curb lane on Gordon Drive will be closed between 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for construction of a bus pull out to replace the existing on-street bus stop south of Harvey Avenue.

Access to businesses will remain open and traffic lanes will be reopened during the evening and overnight.

Transit riders of route #5 Glenmore can continue to use the existing transit stop during construction.

Pedestrians will continue to have access to the sidewalks on either side of Gordon Drive.

Construction is scheduled to be complete on June 16.

Motorists are asked to watch their speed and obey any traffic control personnel.

The City of Kelowna appreciates the patience of residents, businesses and motorists during the construction season.
