Vandals ‘completely trash’ Kelowna fruit stand; police need help finding them

KELOWNA – Police are looking for help tracking down the vandals who destroyed a Kelowna fruit stand.

The Gibson Road fruit stand was vandalized on Sept. 10, according to a Central Okanagan Crime Stopper media release. Graffiti was painted on the walls, mirrors were smashed and paint dumped inside.

Lori Holand with Crime Stoppers says in the release the new building’s interior was "completely trashed."

“Among other pleasantries, the suspects spray-painted 'Die Hippy Scum' on several of the walls,” Holand says.
