Central Okanagan Foundation celebrates 40 years of Giving

The Central Okanagan Foundation has worked to improve the quality of life in our community by providing financial support to a wide range of charitable groups for 40 years.

The Central Okanagan Foundation has given out over $10 million dollars in grants since its inception in 1977.

In celebration of their 40th Anniversary, the Central Okanagan Foundation has created four $40,000.00 endowment funds. These funds were created to generate four scholarships, one for each municipality in the Central Okanagan. The scholarships will be in perpetuity and will leave a lasting legacy to enable our communities to flourish today, tomorrow and forever.

The Central Okanagan Foundation Volunteer Spirit Scholarship Fund offers financial support to a current resident of the Central Okanagan region who is, or has recently been, an active volunteer either in a Canadian community or internationally. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist with qualified post-secondary education.

There will be one scholarship funded to a resident from each of the four Central Okanagan Municipalities: Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country.

Four scholarships will be funded annually at $1,500 for each municipality.
