Man’s death in Langley, B.C., targeted, linked to gang activity: police

LANGLEY, B.C. – Police say the death of a man found in a rural part of Langley, B.C., appears to be targeted.

Officers were called around 8 a.m. Wednesday following the discovery of human remains.

Cpl. Meghan Foster with the Integrated Homicide Investigations Team says police have not yet identified the victim.

She calls the death a “gruesome event” and says police believe it is linked to gang activity.

A tweet from Langley RCMP says the site will be behind police barricades for the foreseeable future.
